ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED

In today's competitive environment, quality goes without saying. Customers demand parts which are built to print. To provide a foundation for quality, MIC Group embraces the ISO Quality Management System. Our system provides documented procedures to cover your requirements from the initial request for quotation, through manufacturing and verification, to the receipt of the product at the final destination. MIC has been certified to the ISO Standard since June 30, 1994. We remain one of a select few companies, providing precision machined parts and electro-mechanical assemblies, which are certified to ISO 9001:2000 standards. There are many imitators in the industry claiming to "comply" or "conform" to ISO 9001:2000 standards, however, only a few are actually "certified" by an independent registrar. MIC's Quality Management System is supported by the Management Team and maintained by all employees.

 INSPECTION AND TESTING

At MIC Group, quality is built into the product, not inspected into the product. All employees have primary responsibility to assure parts "meet the Customers' stated and implied requirements." Inspection stations are strategically placed throughout the shop for in-process inspection by the employees manufacturing the parts. The Inspectors at MIC function as "facilitators" to train the employees in the proper methods of inspection, assist with inspection, and provide verification of conformance to customer requirements. MIC has a comprehensive line of inspection, measuring and test equipment. A centralized Gage Room is used to issue and maintain company owned inspection equipment. Records are kept providing traceability of inspection equipment to each production job. All of the equipment used for the verification of product is calibrated to standards traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Calibration procedures are maintained for all inspection equipment. A computerized calibration tracking system is used to assure all calibrations are current.
